The North Country Trail (NCT) traverses over 1,000 miles through the farmlands of Ohio - the most trail miles of any state on the 4,600+ mile route. But for those who know these subtle hills, a treasure of scenic beauty and tranquil farmsteads await. Caves and waterfalls hide in the Hocking Hills. Rivers abound, named for Native Nations of the Miami, Maumee, Tuscarawas. There are no shortage of scenic barns, small towns, and a few more surprises along the Buckeye Trail.
