
ABOUT Ben
Ben is a researcher of conservation, community-based governance, and socio-ecological systems. He is passionate about using photography to tell a story. An avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, he has taken many of these photos on expeditions into the wilderness - researching Grizzly Bears and Andean Bears, on work trips, and on recreational travel both home and abroad. His cross-cultural integration underlies a love of people, animals, ecosystems, and the arts. Discover these stories through his photos or for yourself - with travel tips, movies, and books to read!

Background & Education:
Ben grew up just outside of Detroit, Michigan before attending the University of Michigan. He is currently at work on a Masters degree from Yale University.
