Poutine is cheese curds and gravy, french fries and your choice of meat (duck, pulled pork, bacon, and more) - a pub favorite or culinary experiment. It was first born from the French-Canadian blend in Quebec (Montreal, the epicenter). But you’ll now find it all across Canada - in cities, in towns, in the only bar for miles - odds are they have poutine.

Try these restaurants for poutine in:
Montreal: Aud Pied de Cochon, Blackstrap BBQ, La Banquise, Chez Claudette, Paul Patates
Quebec City: Le Chic Shack, Poutineville, Brasserie Artisanale La Korrigane, Chez Gaston
Toronto: Smoke’s Poutinerie, Nom nom nom, Leslieville Pumps, Tallbou’s Craft Beer House
Ottawa: Elgin Street Diner, Pong’s Poutine, The Great Canadian Poutinerie, La Patatarie Hulloise
Edmonton: La Poutine, The Cheese Factory, Provincial Pub, The Common
Calgary: The Big Cheese Poutinerie, Naina’s Kitchen, Fryday
Vancouver: Fritz European Fry House, La Belle Patate, Mean Poutine, Belgian Fries, Wallflower
Winnepeg: Le Garage, Lovey’s BBQ, Oscar’s Deli
Atlantic Provinces: Willy’s Fresh Cut, Halifax (NS); The Chip Shack, Charlottetown (PEI); Che’s Famous Fish and Chips, St. John’s (NF&L)
